Reseller – this term applies at the area of Commercial Law, where refers to the figure of a business trader who sells for the manufacturer against fee. There are two ways – to sell the goods on their own, using their own brands on the base of a contract with the seller, or directly to act as a proxy of the seller and to trade on their behalf (without acquiring the ownership of the goods) against commission fee.  A synonym here is “merchandiser” or “dealer”.

There is another meaning of this term, applicable within the Property Law, where the term refers to real estate owner who has recently bought the property but then decides to sell it (usually because not interested any longer of keeping it). This person is called “reseller”.
