Retributive – this adverb literally means “punishable”. It has huge role in the legal practice to describe these orders that keep the proper legal order. For example, in the Criminal Law, the jail punishments are retributive justice (punishable justice) for the criminals. In the area of Civil Law, the penalties are also a type of punishable justice for the party which does not perform their obligations property.
