Capias ad faciendum

Capias ad faciendum – this legal term comes from Latin. It applies in the area of Litigation Procedures in some legal systems. usually it refers to a court order, which has the role to help the creditor to satisfy from the debt and to enforce judgment, via arresting the debtor and putting them in jail. Such legal instrument was present back in the ages, and is rarely seen today in the modern world. The origin of the term is the word “capias”, which literally means “court order, a writ”.
