Rotating custody

Rotating custody – this legal term finds application in the area of Family Law in some legal systems. There it refers to a type of child care decided by court and exercised by both parents (usually after divorce or separation), without pointing which parents hold majority. Technically this is possible in situations where both parents live close to each other and such rotation of the child care won’t affect the interests of the child. A synonym is “split custody”.
