Suit

Suit – within the meaning, given by the Litigation procedures, a suit refers to legal proceedings commerced by claim. An applicant, called “claimant” lodges their pretention in court in the form of a claim with attached proofs, against another party, called “defendant”. The main goal of the suit is reaching a decision which to settle the legal dispute between the parties. A synonym is “lawsuit” or “court case”.
