Synallagmatic contract

Synallagmatic contract – This legal phrase refers to reciprocal or bilateral contract used in the civil Law: An agreement in which both parties provide consideration. For example within the commercial law in some legal system, a contract of sale is a classic example, where one party provides money and the other deliver goods or services. Here we have to metion that on the other hand a gift is not a synallagmatic contract.
