Warrant of attorney – within the meaning of the Law of Contracts this is a formal written authorization by a client to a bona fide lawyer, with the rights to appear in a court on a concrete case and to protect their interests and position. In some jurisdictions only independent lawyers – members of the Bar, are permitted to represent various clients and to work in the court of law on the base of warrants of attorney.
