Basic pay rates – the Labor Law in every country establishes a minimum rate of pay for employment, in order to protect the rights of labor workers. These minimum figures are called “basic pay rates”. They could be calculated either as an hourly rate – for example, not less than 10 dollars per hour. Or could be set up as a monthly wage – for example, not less than 500 Euro salary.
These figures guarantee that the employers will not pay extremely less to their workers. Every employer who does not obey these minimums is a subject of sanction by the inspection authorities.
