Realignment – Within the area of Law of Contracts in some legal systems, this term details an amendment done to a contract. Amendments are usually done via addendum or an annex, signed by all the parties who initially concluded the contract. In some jurisdictions, a reformation could be done by a court decision on the matter. Usually, this happens on the base of a petition by any of the parties, who believe there is defective part of the agreement due to fraud or misleading.
