Abbrochment

Abbrochment – this term applies to the Commercial Law in most jurisdictions.  Abbrochment is considered to be an intentional activity by a sole trader of monopolizing goods. The trader in such situation purchases all available goods of this kind. He/she usually pursues the goal to own all goods and to be the only seller. Respectively to make an illegal profit via not giving a chance to the buyers to choose where to buyer these goods from. All developed countries have mechanisms and governmental bodies to fight monopoly. Most used punishments to monopolists are huge financial fines for corporate entities and jail sentences for individuals who rule them.

Synonym of “abbrochment” is “monopoly”.
