Advocate / Advokate – Most legal systems set the figure of a legal practitioner advising people and representing people’s interests in courts – the lawyer. The advocates participate in professional Chamber which regulates their activities. Some jurisdictions consider the lawyer’s work not as a trade activity, but as a protection of rights, therefore they forbid advertisement of lawyers.

*Note that lawyers do not practice law for free; their personal advocacy is paid, so when asking a lawyer for their acceptance of service on a concrete legal issue, or to represent you in court hall, you should pay them for their opinion and legal advice/representation; it is the same as when you visit a doctor and pay for their competent diagnose and accurate medical treatment.
