Chattels personal – in the meaning given by the Property Law, chattels personal represent the movable goods that can be used by their owner on a daily basis. In other words, the owner is entitled to manage these goods and transfer these towards any third parties without any legal restrictions. The term origins from the word “chattel” which means moveable property, and itself it origins from “cattle”, being the most valuable movable asset instead of real estate.
