Class action

Class action – this legal term is used in Trials to detail a situation where different persons combine their claims because the facts and the defendant are so similar. This is designed to save court time and to entitle one judge to hear all the cases at the same time and to make one decision binding on all parties. Class action lawsuits would typically occur once a developer vanished with all money collected by trustful off-plan property buyers, where all the buyers would sue the developer together in a class action. Synonym in some countries is the term “common claims”.
