Client-solicitor privilege – in some legal systems this term refers to legal right that belongs to the client of a lawyer, obliging the lawyer to keep any information or words spoken to him during the communication with the client, strictly confidential. This privilege includes being shielded from testimony before a court. In some legal systems it is possible such right to be waived if this could prevent a serious crime.
