Name and arms term – per the meaning, given by the Law of Contracts in many jurisdictions, this term refers to a provision in a deed of gift, that the person upon whom the assets or beneficial interest is given, will bear the intentions and will by of the testator or settlor. If the opposite case occurs, then the gift should be given back to the testator, because the goals of the gift obviously not been achieved.
