Personal judgment

Personal judgment – within the Litigation procedures in many jurisdictions this phrase refers to a judgment that is placed against a private individual or corporate body to recover damages in cash. Within the process of personal judgment, the defendant has a personal liability to pay pack all cash damages occurred by the claimant. For example, you have been hit by a car and your arm is broken. Then within the personal judgment process you seek cash damages from the driver, who will stand as defendant in the process.
