Prolocutor

Prolocutor – this term is used in the area of Administrative Law in some jurisdictions, where it has two different meanings:

– it could detail the figure of a chairman on a meeting. The prolocutor has the obligations to rule the meeting, to ensure the participants perform their obligations due to the goals of the meeting properly, etc. A synonym is “chairperson”.

– it could detail the figure of a person who speaks for another and on their behalf; i.e. a spokesman.
