Public records

Public records – every country creates specific registers, containing of non-confidential information or data records, visible to the public, and for usage of the public. For example, statistics for number of citizens of one town, of the details for marriages concluded in one municipality, are considered as public records. The Companies House Register, containing the officially registered corporate entities, is also a public record. The opposite term is “private records”, which details the data and accounts for concrete individuals that are not for public use but only by concrete official authorities.
