Civil servant

Civil servant – within the meaning, given by the Administrative Law, “civil servant” details the figure of a person employed by the government, usually for performance of public services to the citizens. Depending of the concrete type of position, the civil servant works on this position via election (where called “elected official”) or via signing normal labor contract – as regular governmental worker. Elected officials such as legislators, judges, mayors and governors are public servants. Somewhere known as “public servant”.
