Trial – A public hearing in which the evidence in a case, and the law which applies, are examined. Also known as “process” or “lawsuit”. It represents the summons of steps (motions) of the procedures, applicable in court on a concrete legal dispute. These have the goal to achieve judgment to bind the participating parties. Per the provisions of the concrete local legislation, applicable in most modern jurisdictions, there could be various processes. For example, Civil Process, Criminal Penalty Process, Administrative Process, etc. Also named as “court proceeding” or “court process”.

*Note that it is advisable to hire a lawyer who to perform court proceedings on your behalf, or to represent you in court on proceedings brought against yourself. Lawyers are qualified in Law and they know what legal steps to take and what legal actions to perform, in order to protect your interests in court hall.
