Bust – this term has two different meanings:

– Within the area of Bankruptcy Law, it refers to a crash of the financial activity; liquidation, bankruptcy of a local corporate body or a private individual. A synonym is “bankruptcy”.

– In the Criminal Law, it could also mean the arrest of a physical individual for the purposes of a criminal conviction.
