Personal action – this phrase is part of the Tort Law and it is used in civil proceedings in some jurisdictions, where refers to the legal right of a person to seek (out-of-court or via litigation procedure) refund, or recovery of damages occurred to their person or property, i.e. to pursue remedies. This is why it is named also somewhere as “remedial acton”.
