Redhibition claim – in the area of Civil Claims, this term details a claim by a buyer of an item, against the seller or the producer of this item, for any hidden defects. These are found by the buyer after he has bought the item and these do not allow normal usage of this item (i.e. make it partly or fully useless). The redhibition claim usually pursues to void the sale of the defective item and consists of a request for partly or full refund, together with a compensation for missed benefits.
